As an Orange County Real Estate Specialist, it is Brad Coleman’s goal to help people from all walks of life and backgrounds find their perfect home. Believing that giving back to the community builds stronger neighborhoods and neighbors, Brad has worked with HomeAid Orange County in an effort to help all people find a home. While many Orange County residents see affluence at every turn, more children in the county go to bed hungry every night than any other place in California. And with nearly 35,000 Orange County men, women and children experiencing homelessness in a given year, Brad has pledged to help HomeAid build and renovate homes for this neglected group.
A leading national non-profit provider of housing for today’s homeless, HomeAid builds and renovates multi-unit homes mainly for America’s temporarily homeless while they rebuild their lives. Founded in 1989 by the Orange County chapter of the Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIA/SC), an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), HomeAid has provided housing for more than 60,000 individuals who have been rendered temporarily homeless due to circumstances beyond their control.
Brad has served as Co-Chair of HomeAid’s Project Playhouse .
True to Brad’s strong belief in giving back to the community in 2011 Brad has started working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County in helping raise funds to support matching mostly under privileged children with mentors. After seeing the amazing results of the Big Brothers programs and the growing need for these services Brad became more involved Serving on Multiple fundraising committees and Brad financially sponsored a match through the Honorary Big Program .
